1.Make sure your company is qualified to hire you.
1. 确保你的公司有资格聘用你。
Some companies areNOT qualified to hire you, for example a Chinese company who doesn'thave a social insurance certificate. Check with the HR staff as thisis a very important information.
有些公司没有资格雇佣你，比如一家没有社会保险证书的中国公司。和人力资源部的员工核对一下，因为这是一个非常重要的信息。
2. You can renewyour work permit and residence permit maximum 3 month in advance.
2.你最多可以提前3个月办理工作证和居留证的续签手续。
The visa extensionapplication should be submitted at least 7 days before the expirationdate of the visa. If you apply too late, you may have to overstay andyou will become subject to a fine and possible deportation. once yourvisa is extended, the new dates start from the day you receive yournew visa C NOT from the day your old visa expired.
签证延期申请应该至少在签证到期前7天提交。如果你申请太晚，你可能不得不逾期逗留，你将受到罚款和可能的驱逐出境。一旦你的签证被延长，新的日期从你收到新签证的那天开始，而不是从你旧签证过期的那天开始。
3. You must go tothe Public Security Bureau (PSB) Exit and Entry Administration officeto extend your China visa.

Normally PSB issituated in all larger towns and cities of China. You need to submitthe application in person. In case the staff cannot speak English,you are recommended to take a Chinese friend with you if you can.

5. Please confirmfollowing information in advance before you transfer your work permitand residence permit from company A to company B.

◎Your personaldocuments (for example, the bachelor degree and authentication, thereference letter and police clearance) are already in the governmentforeign work permit (FWP) system.

◎Company Awill cancel your work permit properly.

◎Do not changeyour working experience or job title arbitrarily, its all recorded inthe system already.

◎If you quitcompany A, normally, they will cancel your residence permit and giveyou a 1 month stay permit - T visa (There are only about 20 days leftwhen you get it)

6. Remember toupdate your registration form of temporary residence if you movedyour home address or you have a new passport.

7. Get theregistration form of temporary residence in a local police station.
到当地派出所领取暂住登记表。
You are required toregister in the local police station within 24 hours upon arrival.When you get a new visa or move to a new place, you need to redo it.If you are renting an apartment or staying with your friends, youneed to go to the local police station by yourself. Normally, you arerequired to take the following documents: Apartment rental contractand passport.
你必须在抵达后24小时内到当地警察局登记。当你获得新的签证或者搬到新的地方时，你需要重新办理。如果你租了一间公寓或者和朋友住在一起，你需要自己去当地的警察局。通常情况下，你需要带上以下文件:公寓租赁合同和护照。
